I so enjoyed making this video for you! This is the first in a new series — ingeniously titled The Collage Series — I’ll be making over the next few months.
The simple act of walking you guys through the most recent collages, and having space to start articulating out loud the what and the WHY behind them, has really stoked the creative fire that’s been smouldering since my surgery.
Even just calling my (possible!) future tarot Hysteria Tarot, a name that landed in my head when I created the new IG account, feels like it was meant to be. I saw the combination of HYSTERectomy and the outdated (and arguably horrendous) medical “condition” hysteria (not even realising that the word “hysteria” comes from the Greek word hystera, meaning uterus — I mean, of course!) and just felt the rage BURN 🔥
It seems there’s a creation wanting to be birthed through me and i’m here for it, wherever it takes me! :-)
