Hello loves, happy new year to you all!
I had to force myself to have some down time over the holiday break, something you’d think would be easy but I really struggle with taking time off— anyone else? I’m learning how to best navigate non-work time so I’m physically rested while not mentally agitated (I’ve been reorganising my office and building Ikea drawers :-)
Yet another piece of the neurodivergent puzzle to fit into place!
I couldn’t wait to get back to my analogue desk to make a video for you guys, so today I bring you my Techo Kaigi set-up. It was only after editing the video that I realised this was what I’d filmed!
What’s a Techo Kaigi?
From the Pen Addict website: “Loosely translated [from] Japanese, it is a journaling or planner meeting that you have (with yourself) where you reflect on what you've been using and whether you want to continue that into the next year.”
Since I filmed the video yesterday I’m already rethinking the notebook for my course schedule and have been making a tentative marketing plan in a Google spreadsheet (first time ever! It won’t last ;-)
Making it up as I go along is a crucial part of the process for me and this is also why I love using Notion for planning and to-do lists. While there are templates you can use, Notion lets me create my own system (and it’s super basic, as you can see!)
For stationery I’m sticking with my favourite pen, ink, notebooks and decoration and I’ll mix them up throughout the year to keep my butterfly brain happy :-)
I’d love to know what you’re using for journaling and organisation in 2025?
Any changes? Or are you sticking with what works?
