Hello loves, happy Sunday! 🩷
Little check-in from me today to share a tarot spread I’ve been using on Sundays to tune into the energy of the coming week. Plus some very important news about memberships!
First, my very anti-climatic news — I haven’t found a new home yet and as you can probably imagine, the anxiety is starting to kick in.
We’re not quite down to the wire yet but it’s fast approaching, so fingers crossed the universe delivers on its promise and I find my new home in the next few weeks.
My entire being is wrapped up in this search, leaving little left over for much else. My creativity has tucked itself away for now (I’m so brain foggy!) and I’m doing what needs doing to support myself through this transition.
I knew leaving London would be a big deal but I’d forgotten just how emotional this kind of move is. I’m feeling a LOT of feelings and I’m still here!
Slowly, slowly, I’ll get through this.
[Very relaxed support from Mousey]
As I have no creative brain function I’m going to pause members’ payments for the next month or so.
This means if you’re paying MONTHLY you will NOT be charged again until I restart payments again.
If you’ve paid for an ANNUAL membership the length of time payments are paused will be added to the end of your year (so if we’re paused for six weeks your membership will be one year + six weeks).
Hope that makes sense — feel free to email me or Nita if it doesn’t 👍
* This is also means our next Zoom call is going to be postponed until I’ve moved. *
Fingers crossed everything should be fine to gather in May! I’ll give you plenty of notice beforehand.
❤️ Members: Your club discount code for my current course, Loving Little You, is still valid - i’ll be closing enrolments on Tuesday April 1st. We’re one week into the course so you’ve got plenty of time to dive in! Code is on the Club noticeboard xo
The Sunday Spread
So my daily tarot cards and journaling have been keeping sane. This is one of those times when having a solid practice - of anything! - helps when you’re running on fumes.
I created this spread a few weeks ago and it’s been a fun one to do on Sundays as I look ahead to the upcoming week.
1. What I need to do this coming week
2. What I need to release / let go of
3. What will support my head?
4. What will support my heart?
5. Message from my soul for the week.
Obviously you could use a single tarot or oracle deck, you could combine them, or you could even use the positions as journal prompts.
I’m a big believer in customising till you reach what feels right for you :-)
Inspiration for your week
Hat tip to my mate Genna for pointing me in the direction of Rosie’s Youtube channel, Roaming Wild Rosie. Rosie is an interior designer who left London to live in a cabin in the woods in Sweden - and she doesn’t have a car!1 For the last three years she’s been renovating her home on her own and I’m absolutely mesmerised by her videos.
Enjoy!
This is especially inspiring to me as i don’t have a driver’s license and was feeling restricted by the places I can move to. Once I’m settled i’ll be getting lessons (again! Third time lucky).
You can do this Susannah!
Being a 3rd generation Southern Californian, it is hard for me to wrap my head around not having a driver's license. Although I do remember thinking, as a kiddo, that I didn't need to get one...until I was 15-1/2 years old & got my learner's permit! Sheesh, I've been a licensed driver for about 54 YEARS now, isn't that crazy?
My mom had a rule about packing to move:
When going through 'stuff', it was 1 to keep, 1 for the trash, 1 for the Goodwill. I'm not planning to move, but I could surely use some major paring down.
Also, when you do move, the 1st thing you do at the new house is to make your bed! That way, when you're tired, it's ready & waiting for you!
Hang in there dear Susannah!! Moving can be SOoooo disruptive, isn't it? I feel like home is such an important, grounding element for us neurodivergent creatives and being in between places is sooooo unmooring!! Hugs!! 💖
