Hang in there dear Susannah!! Moving can be SOoooo disruptive, isn't it? I feel like home is such an important, grounding element for us neurodivergent creatives and being in between places is sooooo unmooring!! Hugs!! 💖

You can do this Susannah!

Being a 3rd generation Southern Californian, it is hard for me to wrap my head around not having a driver's license. Although I do remember thinking, as a kiddo, that I didn't need to get one...until I was 15-1/2 years old & got my learner's permit! Sheesh, I've been a licensed driver for about 54 YEARS now, isn't that crazy?

My mom had a rule about packing to move:

When going through 'stuff', it was 1 to keep, 1 for the trash, 1 for the Goodwill. I'm not planning to move, but I could surely use some major paring down.

Also, when you do move, the 1st thing you do at the new house is to make your bed! That way, when you're tired, it's ready & waiting for you!

I have everything crossed that you and kitties find something wonderful asap. It's stressful enough moving as it is. Sending hugs <3

I'm moving next month too, and I can feel my nervous system is in total overload. It's inspiring to see you adapt your work around your life, thank you for sharing that.

Once your home life is settled, I would love to hear more about your journey towards becoming a driver. I’m 42 and taking another swing at learning this summer! Right now I’m psyching myself up by making lists of very specific things I could do with a car. Like take my dog to the ocean. Or visit forests
